Monarch has recently added a top to bottom high speed quad. Located
is southern Colorado, Monarch is a smaller area with a lot of big
resort type skiing. The lift tickets are affordable and the people
are laid back.
Editors Note: Monarch usually gets a good amount of snow.
Powder can be very good, even a few days after a big storm.
