  • Located in Steamboat Springs, Howelsen Hill is mainly an alpine jumping venue. Howelsen was built in the early 90's and held the first Nordic Combined world cup event ever in the western United States in '94. Howelsen is so popular for the event that the world cup event has been held there every year since then as well. Howelsen hopes to have this event be an annual occasion.

Editors Note: Howelsen is mainly for ski jumping, but there are some other runs if you need somewhere to take a few runs and don't want to venture to Steamboat.
