Degree of Difficulty Aspen Mountain is best known for its steeps, great bumps and skier only atmosphere. Although the mountain is skier only, there are hundreds of acres of snowboarding available on the backside through Aspen Mountain Powder Tours. The resort is accessible right in the town of Aspen and is a local favorite. Editors Note: Aspen Mountain has some incredible bumps and, as you can tell from the above statistics, there are no beginner runs on the mountain.
